The Sunward SWE90UF compact excavator has been developed especially for contractors, from demolition to the rental market, all will appreciate this compact machine that delivers a heavy-duty performance. It features a very short-tail swing, making it the shortest 9-ton short-tail excavator available in the market.
Thanks to its design, the SWE90UF can offer great power at a reduced footprint, giving it the ability to fit into smaller spaces than other similar products. It combines the power of the Yanmar engine, delivering 62 HP, with incredible precision thanks to the dual proportional joysticks, the perfectly fitted hydraulic flow coupled with the LUDFF system (Load Independent Flow Control). To balance fuel consumption and the desired productivity, the SWE90UF offers 3 working modes.
Of course, because we know that safety and comfort should go hand-in-hand, the SWE90UF keeps you safe and provides comfort in all working conditions. In the Sunward tradition of always offering the best value for money, the SWE90UF is no exception since it provides many features and up to 3 years of warranty as standard, at the right price.

On top of its EU certification, the Sunward SWE 60UF, like all Sunward machines on the European market, is designed to meet European customer needs.

We chose the powerful Kubota V2607-DI-T engine for several good reasons. This engine is a vertical, water-cooled, 4-cycle diesel engine with a capacity of 36.5 kW. The Kubota V2607 offers powerful performance, exceptional reliability, and long service life to meet a wide range of applications. It also meets the EU Stage V emission regulations. The perfect fit for our reliable and versatile SWE 60UF.

All key components in Sunward excavators are carefully selected, from Kubota engine to hydraulics. Because hydraulics are often regarded as the heart of the machine, Sunward sources exclusively from the highest references in the market. For our Sunward SWE 60UF, we selected HENGLI to be our main supplier for the hydraulic pump, and KYB or Nachi for the swing motor traveling and swing motor. All these pumps and components for construction machinery are efficient, reliable, and space-saving. So, it’s no coincidence that Sunward selected them to contribute to the SWE 60UF’s reliability.

The SWE 60UF has exceptional digging forces – 46.8 kN (bucket) and 31.1 kN (arm) – easily rivaling all 6t excavator competitors on the market. And when it comes to its long-reach capacity, the SWE 60UF’s boom cylinder design provides a ground reach of over 6.1 meters (6 105 mm) and a digging reach that’s over 6.2 meters (6 235 mm) long – making this compact excavator the benchmark of its range.

A compact excavator’s versatility starts with how well it is designed. And in terms of design, the SWE 60UF is a really nice-looking excavator. This zero-tail compact excavator has truly compact dimensions (1 980 mm width) and is lightweight (5 700 ‒ 5 770 kg), allowing to bring power and easy work even if very tight areas, without any compromise on safety. Moreover, the SWE 60UF can adapt to any job site, thanks to the complete auxiliary settings built-in as standard – providing fully adjustable pressure and flow monitoring. This results in no less than 3 separate auxiliary lines and one line for hydraulic return as standard. Thus, a wide range of attachments can be easily fitted to answer a variety of applications.

This slightly Sunward SWE 60UF mini excavator has it all from the day it leaves the factory:
– Auto idle engine to save fuel and limit the engine’s consumption. – While other manufacturers usually use a flow throttle (because it’s cheaper), we at Sunward opt for a Load Sensing (hydraulic) system, which provides better energy saving possibilities.
– Safety valves for the boom cylinder for safer operations.
– Auto-shifting traveling motor for smooth operations to the operator.
– TOPS, FOPS & ROPS cab.
– Battery cut-off switch for safer operations and prolonged battery lifetime and power – which is especially appreciated in the cold weather of Scandinavian countries.
– Double Acting Hydraulic Circuit
– Factory-fitted Hydraulic Quick Hitch Lines
– Factory-fitted Hammer & Rotation Line
– Factory-fitted Case Drain Line
– Factory-fitted Dual Proportional Joysticks
– Factory-fitted Tiltrotator Configured Joystick Controls (tiltrotator of your choice)
– 3 LED work lights as standard: 2 on the front of the cab, and 1 on the left side of the boom.

To reduce maintenance time and cost for the SWE 60UF, the covers at the rear and on the side provide direct access to the service points. The standard service points – for fuel, oil, and air filters – are directly accessed via the cover at the rear. So, with very easy access to the fuel tank and centralized grease fittings, these mini excavators are as easy to maintain as they are to operate.

The high‑strength SWE 60UF cab meets no less than FOPS, TOPS, and ROPS requirements, which are standard and among the first features to ensure a safe and comfortable job in all application environments. Despite its compact size from the outside, the SWE 60UF offers easy access to the roomy cab, welcoming operators of all sizes from everywhere in Europe. Thanks to the large windows and the well‑organized cab, everything is designed to keep operators comfortable and productive as well as safe.

Sunward is your smartest investment in reliability, performance, and high ROI. Indeed, the SWE 60UF’s expert design includes a well-thought-out selection of components that streamline operation and maintenance. Our design choices result in a machine that provides so many standard features, premium-brand key components, and capabilities at the right price.
And furthermore, Sunward’s own genuine spare parts are economical as well – and all of this best value for money is crowned by up to 3 years of warranty, standard for all Sunward products.
